I, Abdul Rahman, was born on October 15, 2008, in Gaza. I have seen numerous conflicts started against the tiny city. Every year or two, there would be another escalation that would claim lives and ruin our neighbourhood, leading up to the worst battle our community had ever known—2023, which devastated our homes, set fire to our city, and stole my father and my support away. Left an orphan, my brothers and I deal with challenging circumstances. I hope that the war will stop so I can finish my studies and pursue an engineering career, helping to reconstruct the things the dictators destroyed. To make this ambition a reality, I need your help in overcoming the obstacles in my path.
