While the family was displaced in Khan Younis, the father stayed behind in Rafah, doing his best to secure their needs and alleviate the burden of displacement. One day, carrying his longing and their needs, he visited them to check on their well-being and then returned to Rafah to continue his struggle. Tragically, he never returned; he was martyred there, leaving his wife and children without a provider.
Now, the mother lives in a tent with her husband’s family, patiently trying to cope with the harshness of loss. Meanwhile, her son Musab, despite the pain, clings to his dream of becoming a doctor one day. He finds solace in basketball, which serves as an escape from life’s worries, hoping that success will be his path to changing their difficult reality.
