A mother batteling a vicious cancer

Within just a few months, Lama’s life was completely turned upside down. She was involved in an accident that caused a spinal fracture, confining her to bed for a long period filled with pain and disability. When she slowly began to regain some ability to move, she went to hospitals for medical tests and imaging, only to receive devastating news she never expected. Lama was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, with metastases to the bones and collapses in the lumbar and thoracic vertebrae. Doctors recommended an urgent treatment plan that includes 14 chemotherapy sessions. So far, she has only been able to receive two sessions because she cannot afford the cost.
