How much does a Molham Event cost and what does it include?

The minimum cost of an event for a family of several children is $200, and the minimum cost of an event for children in a camp is $300, regardless of whether you pay the amount yourself upon creating the event or you raise it through donations from your friends.

The basic event we implement is for 50 children, in which the cost is $6 per child. This cost includes the following: cake, juice, gifts, and decoration.

The following items can be added to the package with an extra cost:
- A meal, after which the overall cost would be $450 for 50 children and $900 for 100 children.
- A meal and winter boots, after which the overall cost would be $650 for 50 children and $1300 for 100 children.
- A winter jacket, after which the overall cost would be $1050 for 50 children and $2100 for 100 children.

Where are Molham Events usually held?

Molham Events are usually held in internally displaced camps in Latakia countryside, northern countryside of Aleppo, and Idlib countryside within Syria.

How can I create an account and add an event?

On the website's main page, click on log in or create a new account if you do not already have an account. Then, click on the (Create an Event) option to add your special event.

How much time is needed to plan my event and add it on the website prior to implementing it?

You may plan your event any time during the year and email us on events@molhamteam.com to plan it as per your request. However, the event must be registered on the website at least 15 days prior to its date so that we can undertake the necessary preparation and you can collect the needed amount ($300).

Once you create your event, you will get a special link for it, to enable you to share the event with your friends on social media and invite them to donate to it instead of send you gifts!

What happens if the donations collected for my event do not reach $300?

In this case, we would contact you and ask if you would like to cover the missing amount until it reaches the minimum of $300. If that were not possible, we would use the collected donations to increase the number of children in another upcoming event.

Can I get a video of the event?

Of course, the entire event will be video-recorded and the video will be shared with you. The video may include a special message from the children to the subject of the event!

Can the event be an Aqiqah for a newborn baby?

Accepted Answer

Yes, when you create your event you will find a special category for Aqiqah. In this case, the cost of the sacrificed sheep must be fully paid, which is $320. A video documenting the process will be sent to you by events@molhamteam.com within one week from creating the event.

Can I create an event for children in camps without having a certain kind of celebration?

Yes of course. We have added the (Fun Party) option, whereby you may throw a fun party for children even if you do not have a specific occasion.
