Q: I made a donation and I did not receive a reciept and it did not appear on my account, why?

If you made a donation by a money transfer to one of our accounts, you will receive a receipt within 2-4 days from the day of emailing us a copy of the transfer receipt, along with the donation purpose. This is due to the time it takes for the donation to appear in our bank account and for us to manually register it in our records. - If you made a donation using PayPal, a card, or any other electronic method , you will receive a receipt immediately after completing your payment. In any case, if you do not receive a receipt and the donation does not appear on " My Donations " page on your account within 4 days from the day of your donation, please email us on support@molhamteam.com .

You can use make an online donation through the website by one of the following payment methods:

- PayPal account

- Credit or Debit Card

- iDeal if you live in the Netherlands

- Giropay or Sofort if you live in Germany

On the page of your target case, campaign, or sponsorship, you will be directed to another page to choose your preferred payment method. Also, if you live in the USA, Canada, or Europe, you have the option to donate through our Facebook page.

I made a donation through Facebook and I did not receive a receipt nor did the donation appear on my account, why is that?

Because of Facebook's privacy policy, we are not provided with full information about Facebook donors. Hence, we are unable to provide a receipt for any donation made through Facebook.

What is the minimum amount of a donation?

Accepted Answer

The minimum amount of donation is $5.00, owing to the service fees deducted by payment solution providers. Exceptionally, if the remaining amount in the targeted fund is less than $5.00, a lesser amount of donation is possible.

Do I need to have an account to make a donation?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Creating a new account is a very simple process and takes a few seconds of your time. If you do not have an account, you can create an account using your Facebook, Google (Gmail), or any email account by following this link.

I made a donation in US Dollar, but it was withdrawn of my account in Euro, which is the donation currency?

Accepted Answer

The currency of display on the website is US Dollar. However, all of our receiving bank accounts are in Euro, therefore withdrawal of the donation amount is in Euros.

My Credit/Debit card is not in US Dollar, does the currency of online donation have to be in US Dollar?

Most Credit/Debit cards allow deductions in all currencies, and this is by converting the amount from the currency of the card to the currency paid with.

Do you fully receive the electronic donations or are they subject to deductions?

Accepted Answer

Donations are subject to a small deduction by payment solution providers, such as PayPal and Stripe, as they do not provide their services for free even for charities or nonprofits. However, if you donate via Facebook we receive the full amount and no deductions are made.

I tried donating using my card and the donation did not go through, why is that?

The failure of a payment transaction from some debit and credit cards goes back to the policies of the issuing bank, since some banks have special procedures when it comes to foreign transfers, which may be the reason why your donation is not going through. In such case, you may choose another donation option, such as a bank transfer.

How can I activate automatic donations to Molham Team?

You can set up an automatic donation to our projects by subscribing to monthly or weekly recurring donations via the Quick Donation page. You can also subscribe to a monthly recurring donation by sponsoring an orphan, a family, or an ill person from the Sponsorships page.

Molham Volunteering Team deducts 6.5% of the donations to cover administrative fees.

How can I be sure that donations are reaching those in need?

Molham Volunteering Team is a registered organization in Turkey, Germany, Sweden, Jordan, and Canada. Its activities are regulated by the dedicated authorities in these countries. The Transparency File on the website lists all incoming and spent donations. The Latest News page provides updates on the current cases, campaigns, and other programs. In addition, media materials are regularly posted on our social media accounts, displaying our activities on the ground.

Do you accept in-kind donations?

We are unable to take in in-kind donations, unless they are in bulk and based in or can be transferred to Turkey at the donor's cost. As for any other in-kind donations, we are unable to take them in due to the accompanying costs, such as shipping and sorting.
