It takes between $50 - $60 per month to sponsor an orphaned child. This amount covers basic needs, such as food and clothing. In case the child needed an extra amount for other expenses, the sponsor is contacted and asked if they are willing to cover it. The assistance is provided to the orphan's caregiver on quarterly basis.
The amount depends on the particular needs of each family, such as rent, transportation expenses, etc. The average monthly amount is $100, which is provided to the family on quarterly basis.
The monthly amount varies according to the medical needs of the sponsored ill person. The assistance is provided on quarterly basis.
You can sponsor an orphan, a family, or an ill person for a minimum of 3 months, and there is no maximum period. For that, you can choose to subscribe to our recurring donation system, so the donation would be withdrawn from your account once every month, or you may otherwise make a one-time payment to cover several months.
You can email the sponsorships department at [email protected] to request to contact the sponsored party or to make visit if possible.
A sponsorship may be cut off for a variety of reasons, including:
- Improvement of the family's living conditions,
- The family traveling abroad or moving to an area not covered by the Team,
- Losing contact with the family.
In such case, the sponsor is notified that amounts in the sponsorship fund are transferred to another sponsorship, along with the subscription to recurring donations feature.
